About Us:

Welcome to Nease Nest! We are a pagan family of five, living in the beautiful, wild heart of Maine. Our family includes Mom (Sandie), Dad (Devin), and our three daughters—our little wildflowers—who bring magic, joy, and adventure to every corner of our home.

On a few occasions, we have been asked why we call ourselves the Nease Nest. It’s rather simple, if I’m honest, we chose the name because it represents the nurturing space where we are raising our children—our fledglings—as they grow into the people they are meant to be. Just as birds create a safe, loving nest for their young to flourish, Nease Nest is our sanctuary where love, nature, and magic guide our journey.

The Maine backdrop to our lives offers us the gift of being surrounded by much of nature’s beauty—forests, mountains, and the ocean—all of which inspire and nourish our spirits. Whether we’re gathering herbs from the woods, honoring the seasons through rituals, or simply exploring the world around us, our lives are deeply connected to the land we call home.

This blog is a reflection of our journey, where we share our experiences, our adventures, and the moments of magic that make up our everyday lives.
